Hurld School Scholarship (April)

Chairperson/Committee Members Needed

The Hurld offers a Scholarship to a former Hurld School Student pursuing further education in the amount of $1,000. This scholarship is in honor of David Carpenter, former custodian at the school.

Chair Responsibilities: Advertising the opportunity, coordinating the documented review process, communicating the winner to the Woburn Guidance Dept and Mrs. Mills.  (Approx 3-4 hours of work for 1 month) 

Committee Members:  Volunteers to blind read the essays , rating them per the scoring criteria. This process is completely documented. Essay Review and Rating is typically 2- 3 hours for the month (dependent on # of applications received).
